What We Cannot Repair

Not all discs can be fixed, and we want to be upfront about what is beyond repair:

❌ Blu-ray & GameCube discs – These have a different structure that cannot be resurfaced.
❌ Discs with cracked or damaged inner rings – If the centre ring is broken, this will likely worsen over the discs lifespan, so we no longer repair discs with ring-crack.
❌ Warped discs – If a disc is bent or has heat damage, it is not repairable.
❌ Label-side damage – If the top side of the disc is scratched or peeling, the data layer may be compromised.
❌ Disc rot – Discs changing colour or showing signs of deterioration cannot be restored.

Q: Will my disc look brand new after repair?
A: While our process significantly improves readability, we cannot guarantee a flawless finish. Our focus is making your disc work again while improving its appearance as much as possible. PS1 discs will have more notable swirl marks due to their colouring. Please see the example photos above for realistic results.

Q: What if my disc is valuable?
A: Our return labels cover up to £150. If your disc is worth more, we strongly recommend using Special Delivery for additional insurance.

Q: How long does the repair process take?
A: We aim for a 2-business-day turnaround from receiving your disc. However, during busy periods, repairs may take slightly longer.

Q: Is repair guaranteed?
A: No, while we do our best, some discs simply cannot be restored. Discs with deep scratches (where your fingernail catches on them) are very unlikely to be recoverable.
